I have a health check every year at GP, started when 60, last years was delayed from November until earlier this year. Weight, BP and blood tests. S Hants.
It depends how in depth you want to go. The NHS provides an annual check up for over 50’s I think even if they don’t tell you, your surgery should offer you certain tests and a screening, have you asked them? For a private full health check my DH paid £300 but they find problems with everything in the hope your pay them for further tests and treatment. I would call your GP and ask for some tests and screenings. Chances are you are healthy if you feel well, what is it you think they will find? Do you have health anxiety?
I had an email last week from my Surgery inviting me for an annual review, not had one for a couple of years, so it’s possibly an age related appointment? DH has had one every year for several years, but he is a bit older than me. Odd that your Surgery doesn’t have anything similar, several people I know have them, some in other Counties, so I assumed everyone was offered an appointment.
