CABG - anyone else had one?

DH had a triple bypass last November. Unfortunately, he ended up with a hospital-acquired infection, probably given to him during the operation as the incision and the lung that was deflated were the centres of infection. It led to multiple further operations and all kinds of drains being fitted so his upper body is covered in scars. He now wears a T shirt when swimming.

His lung is still not fully recovered so he gets out of breathe easily, otherwise he is not doing too badly.

I had a single bypass done in 2017 and feel fine too. I don’t know any women who have had this surgery and so can’t compare but I think my chest scar is pretty neat and was lucky because they took the graft from within the chest so no other scarring,. . ok a semi numb left boob, but not so bothered about that now.
