Turmeric for arthritis?

I take it regularly. My left knee was replaced 11 years ago, but now, my right knee is very painful. I’ve been taking it for more than 12 months. I think I might be a lot worse if I stop taking it so I continue! If you start taking it, don’t expect miracles though.
Buy the ones with black pepper. The pepper is very important. I get mine from Holland & Barratt.

I have read turmeric can help with the pain of arthritis. Mine is in the right knee. I am unsure whether to take them, although from a reputable health provider. Has anyone taken them, and with what success.
