Driving long distances

Do you have a knee problem anyway or is this only when you’re driving? You could try wearing a knee support, maybe.

As others say, I don’t think an hour is a long drive. It takes me 45 minutes just to get to my nearest bigger town!

DH suddenly had problems with his knee when driving. It got worse and he got anxious about it. We traded the car in for an automatic and it’s great. A huge relief.

It used to take me an hour to drive to and from work! A long drive is several hours with a stop for lunch.

I don’t consider a journey of an hour a long journey. There are knee strengthening exercises on the internet but a friend who had a knee replacement told me that she knew she needed one when her knee became too painful for her to drive. I hope you can sort this out.

I took my sister, who doesn't drive, to meet up with my niece at a country park near her. It's an hour long journey. I only usually do short runs. After half an hour of driving I realised my right knee was starting to play up on the accelerator. I was trying to rest my right leg. I longed for cruise control again, but sadly can't afford a car with one being retired. Two days after I had another long one hour run for my dog's post op check up. Same trouble with the knee. Anyone else have this problem?
