still waiting for xray appointment after 4 weeks.

In light of the current situation in hospitals am i hoping too much that i would have received the above by now?

I know that locally there is a postal situation and i am hoping that my letter with the appointment is still waiting somewhere to be delivered. Should i hang on till after Christmas and try and chase it or should i start doing it now?

Start chasing now, they can only tell you to be patient or that the letter has gone out and gives you the date.
DD2 chased an appointment, they had lost/ mis filed all of her notes and she had to start again.

Do you need an appointment? My DD was recently sent for X ray and it was just a walk in clinic. All she had to do was turn up. The results were rapidly sent to her GP and a plan of action outlined.

I’d chase it up if I were you. We have a walk-in X-ray clinic at our local hospital. What I mean is, you get the signed X-ray request form from your GP , you take that in to the Hospital and job done !!!
