Scardycat our heating and the bed socks went on and I don't think I feel the cold as much as some. Must be all that sitting around trying to get the knitting finished! It sounds as if you are taking baby steps and that is working for you. Keep it up.
Doodle not sure I can describe the colour, sort of grey/blue/green, rather muted. She doesn't do bright colours or huge patterns so she chose the wool and I made a pattern based on some she sent me. Yes, I'm sure she will appreciate it and keep it forever. A friend is going to make me a label to put on it, she is clever with a sewing machine. I hope your issues are sorting themselves out but, if not, at least not getting any worse.
BlueSky that sounds horrid, I don't understand it because I have never experienced it but it sounds as if it gets in your head and you can't stop it. No answers, sorry.
lucyanne never heard of finger knitting but good to hear it works for you.
annie I have some understanding of living your life vicariously through family but at least I can get out myself. Just had loads of wattsapp photos and videos from DiL of a 'party' they had in the garden yesterday. Just a few close friends socially distanced, it was nearly as good as being there. They plan to pop round with leftover cakes! They have really lovely friends who also treat us as friends rather than parents. We are very blessed.
Just had a supermarket delivery which DH is putting away and then he is going to hack down the front garden and I will clear it up. He has physical issues which make bending down difficult. Then it will be back to the marathon knitting! Oh, and the sun is shining.
