Covid and dogs

Same here heath480; terrified of a strange dog running up to mine and it's owner coming up to me to retrieve it. Mind you, it's so busy round our way at the moment with joggers and cyclists we're going to start walking very early in the morning from now on.

Not heard that,but dogs should be on leads at all times now.

I walk my dog once a day,have not let him off the lead since Lockdown began and I walk him over fields,I never see anyone,but wouldn’t risk him being loose.

The advice is that dogs should be kept on leads when other people are about so I don't think that she's complety wrong. Obviously owners need to be 2 meters apart.

I thought she'd made it up tbh but I thought I'd check. She's a strange lady. The other week she accused me of trying to kill her Christmas tree (planted in the ground) because I stood a pot of tulips next to it. This dog thing must be another of her fantasies.

No I have not heard of that either vampirequeen washing hands after stroking etc for cats and dogs is recommended.

No I've never seen that however I think I did see advice that we shouldn't stroke other peoples dogs, even our neighbours in case the virus was on their fur. We don't pat any of our friends dogs at the moment when we our paths cross out walking and the dogs are finding it funny, we think. They get pulled up short as we socially distance ourselves and shout Hello! Strange times.
