I was thinking, IF a GN member became ill or heaven forbid, the worst happened, they'd just disappear off the site. We'd just be left wondering and worrying (as happened with someone a while ago who had a suspected heart attack).

Could we have a regularish CHECK-IN thread? Not necessarily any actual discussion, but just maybe, I'm around and I'm well? And possibly any positive 'recovery' updates if we are unlucky enough to get the lurgy?

My DD knows GN is permanently logged in on my iPad and she would either go to the this morning thread or scoops kitchen if anything happened to me.
