Veins

I've just had surgery on the NHS. No ulcers, but very uncomfortable and causing skin issues.
It was worth it... a few hours in hospital, minor discomfort later but a world of difference now.
I had endovenous ablation..

I'm wondering how old you are as a lot of us need to cover our legs when we age. They're just ugly. I do wish people would check their side and back views in the mirror!

Its my understanding that you can't have varicose veins stripped on the NHS any more unless you have severe complications such as leg ulcers.

I had my varicose veins stripped in the past. Do they now do it by injection OP? I’m asking as I have some on my shin that I would dearly love to have removed.

I don't have bad veins, but I do have the skinniest of legs, with scars from childhood eczema. I have accepted the fact that I will never be able to wear calf length dresses or cut-off trousers.
There are so many worse things in life. So don't worry too much about a minor challenge. Good luck !!!!

I promise if you apply 1 hour before any procedures you won’t feel the needle.
