I am very anxious this morning, because I am very isolated I
now find the very thought of the chap coming today to sort
out the landline and internet problems is causing me anxiety,
I wanted to phone and cancel but if I did I would still be
without the help line alarm and that has made me anxious for
four days and nights. So must get myself together and be sensible.

Yes Annie, but I think I have let it slip a bit from not being well.. trying to get back to it.. think I am struggling with thinks a the moment but I will get back to a good place soon I pray God is good..

Hi Annie I am doing better just walking with a stick now, I have walked across the room without it so I am getting there but I do think it’s telling now with stress creeping up trying so hard to stop the negative thoughts, it is so hard Annie it’s back in the morning when I wake up that I am finding hardest errr that horrible morning feeling sure there are plenty of you that know the feeling all two well..

I thought the chap was coming to check my landline and internet today, I was mistaken, he is coming tomorrow, I hope
it will be fixed then. I couldn’t mail my Tesco order last week.

Thank you for my flower annie feeling very 'odd' today I'm wondering if I have a chest infection..I've never had one so not sure. I hate going to the GP unless I'm really poorly as they have so many people who need them more.

I haven't posted much, but I've kept up to date with everyone by reading regularly.
Just wanted to say I've prayed for us all (hope that's ok, I once had a nurse who I told I prayed for her and she took offence....)

I suppose with most people if you say you are depressed they don’t know how to respond to that. Nowadays I think it is becoming more acceptable to say how you are feeling.
We certainly do need this thread annie. A place to come where others have a kind word and a supporting arm.
bluesky try not to take it to heart. Many men can’t cope with emotion. They don’t know what to do. You can always come on here and talk to us.
nanny sorry you are feeling poorly. Try not to worry about what you have to deal with now just concentrate on getting yourself well first.
I think Christmas is a very emotional time of year. There are lots of sentimental films and songs about and life doesn’t seem quite normal until after new year.

Even in 2019, saying to others ‘I have arthritis’ or any physical
problem brings sympathy, but too often saying ‘I am depressed’ or ‘I feel such anxiety’ brings very little or no sympathy or a willingness to listen.

Here there is sympathy, understanding, advice, encouragement, so important

Morning all I haven't been on this thread recently even though I do read it. Obviously at this time of year a lot of us are feeling lower than ever. Those of you who have partners find that they are not very sympathetic? Mine just can't cope with me feeling tearful, if anything he gets annoyed. I'm not usually like that but have been lately for various reasons and at times, for no apparent reason.

I am feeling really stupid ?.

Have been having problems with my iPad for weeks, couldn’t access pm’s for days at a time, many problems, was saving for a new iPad. Landline has been difficult too, I thought I was going bit deaf.

Anyway spoke to phone company yesterday, I didn’t know
the landline and internet were connected. duh. They are sending an engineer to sort things on Monday .

Be back later, just wanted to share how stupid I am x

Hi Annie doodle and friends every day I’m getting a little better. I’m now back on my feet and walking just with a stick, not far but getting there... can’t get round Asda yet but maybe that’s a good thing save me some money haha...
