It will be for the last time as there is no further treatment possible other than pain relief. She wants to be at home with all of us so we will do everything we can to make whatever time she has left comfortable and stress free. We will have support from Macmillan and district nurses and should there come a time when we are no longer able to cope, DD has agreed to go into a hospice.
Family support has been wonderful but I have to admit I'm a little scared and very, very sad.
My heart goes out to you Merlot losing a child is like no other loss. Its my daughters 42nd anniversary today and I'll light a candle alongside hers for your lovely girl .You'll be busy over the coming weeks but when people have moved on there will be mums/grannies here who know how it feels and we'll all gather round when you need someone to listen.Take care .
So sorry and so sad for you all merlot My own DH died 4 weeks ago and that was also so peaceful and so moving, but, losing a child is something we do not expect and should not have to experience. My sincerest condolences and my love goes to you all. You did your dearest girl proud and gave her everything you could. You should be proud of her and yourselves..
So sorry Merlot a peaceful end is what we all want for our loved ones. May you continue to have strength and courage to help your family. Take care of yourself too.
Oh merlot. Life's so unfair sometimes. I suspect you'll be busily occupied in the next week or so with all that has to be done. Then you'll have time to start to process it all: something that will probably take a lifetime - but she's worth it ♥ Very best wishes to you and your family. ?
There are no words that can express how very sorry I am for the loss of your beautiful daughter. Love and prayers for you and your family at this most difficult time. ?
