The best skin smoother/remover for feet, by far, is one I bought from Lloyds pharmacy for about £3.50.
Had it years.
It's simply made of wood with what looks like black sandpaper on both sides of the lower half.
I only use my Superdrug battery thingy for top-ups.
Because I go barefoot a lot of the time, I use the sandpaper one most of all. It works beautifully and I moisturize well after washing/drying my feet then put fluffy bedsocks on.

Sorry to interrupt 'Fifty shades of nail polish' but I would like to thank all the GNs because I've read the good advice and have just ordered a 'cheese grater' (thank you GG54) as my arms were aching from using my old Ikea pumice thing (Micropedi gadget I bought was useless. Went in the bin). Also ordered a foot package that includes those sock thingies.

Could you now go onto the thread vein erm 'thread' and come up with some ideas for my mug. Not many replies on there.

I hope I will soon be, well, I will never be 'bikini ready' again but 'presentable'? for the summer.

I've lost, as of today, 25 lbs in 28 weeks (with Christmas in the way). I'm starting to feel so much better after all the nightmare years. Phew. Getting my mojo back.

There's nothing quite like a hands-on experience.
I love having my scalp massaged at the hairdressers - I could stay there all day. Likewise, back massages at a spa. Peace and quiet and warm soothing oils...bliss. ?
Grayshott Spa is a favourite.

Mine are probably about that age - one was a lovely young man and the other a woman who was good but tended to bark at me

The best 'foot experience' I had was reflexology carried out by a woman with a lovely soothing voice.

Not me. I use a tennis ball and either sit or stand whilst rolling it under my foot. Only one foot at a time, mind you...?
It's a great way to ease tension on your tendons and is also widely advocated as a help if you suffer from plantar fasciitis.
Use enough pressure to feel slight discomfort but not pain.

Has anyone bought that foot massager thingy a certain famous ex cricketer advertises? Are they any good or a waste of money?

I'm very lucky, I have free podiatrist sessions every 3 months and he tells me he aims to give people 'pretty feet'
I must ask mine if he/she can do something for me - lucky you BradfordLass!
She tends to give me exercises and some ghastly but essential orthotics.

I have had circulatory problems and it shoes in my toes! I've got horned toes - well at least on the big toes - so perhaps my devilish personality is showing through!!!!

My postie expressed surprise recently that he’d caught me with my clothes on at last. I usually answer the door to him wrapped in my dressing gown as I’ve been doing my yogalates (or have just rolled out of bed).

No, there is nothing missing from my life, nothing at all.
I started with a comment and then got some iffy replies including ones which were designed to elicit a response, which they got.

GabriellaG54 I don't think I have ever said anything negative about anyone since I joined GN. Everyone is entitled to their views and most are interesting even if I don't agree.

But honestly, I feel that you post and respond with the intention of cultivating a 'slanging match'.

When I read where you have told another poster to 'get a life' it smacks of school playground behaviour and says more about yourself.

I'm actually feeling very sorry to have to write this post and wonder if you GabriellaG54 have something missing from your life that you need to behave as you do.
