Raised toilet seat for travel

I got a she wee from our local poundland. Still in its box but it’s a good idea.

I can recommend the usefulness of the product which shysal highlights. It might be a bit bulky to carry around, but you could carry it in a (specially designated?) shopping bag. I struggle with "low" loos (our own are higher than is usual nowadays) so I bought a "soft foam" seat to take on holidays. It's a bit soft & squishy but it does job.

shysal looks like a bigger version of those neck supports you use when flying!!!

Shewee - I can recommend these. Best to try it out in the shower for the first time and get some practice in!

How about something like this? Quite bulky but assume it would squash fairly flat for travel.

A tad embarrassing but here goes.

I take my ' old faithful ' inflatable child's swimming ring with me for emergency use if there is no disability toilet available . Difficult to find one small in circumference and deep enough but if you find one cheap enough to try it might work for you. Obviously easy clean , easy to use, easy to carry .

I have never seen a portable raised toilet seat for sale that is not made of the hard plastic and looks like what it is used for and obviously bulky to carry to be honest.

If you are in touch with the hospital where you had surgery I would ask the Occupational Therapist or if she/he is not around, a physio.
