Pubic rami fracture

Has anyone else had this type of fracture? I fell just over six weeks ago and the pain can still be agonising. Painkillers have upset my stomach. Legs the size of tree trunks.
As I fell only eight weeks after having a hip revision, ie it needed to be redone, I have now been on crutches since 13 December and am very fed up. Any words of cheer or advice welcome.

I feel for you KirbyGirl. I fractured my pelvis ( acetabulum) six weeks ago and its sooo painful. Same problem with the pain killers too.
All I can say is this too will pass -hopefully. You have my commiserations and we can share a wine or three.
