Flu jabs

Parter and I have just had our flu jabs. The following day he had neck ache, then arm ache but not actually like flu symptoms and he felt OK in himself. A couple of days later I had my flu jab and yes, exactly the same. Neck ache like I had cricked my neck and then shoulder and arm ache - also my injected arm was red hot for 3 days. I felt ok in myself too and guess it's better than getting flu but strange symptoms. Anyone else had similar?? The aching took a week to go in both our cases.

I had my first flu jab last Saturday. I felt a bit achey for a couple of days, though I was looking after the grandchildren so it might have been that! My arm was a bit stiff and I had a nice big red lump which has now gone but has left a slight bruise.

No we have it every year and its fine and we don't get flu.

I had nothing apart from a hot red patch on my arm which lasted a couple of days.
