Lumbago

Anyone with back ache always referred to it as "lumbago" in my family. Mum's standard remedy was a layer of Thermogene wadding under her vest when she was afflicted by it. Do you remember it?

It was in a red box and I think had a fire grate on the front. No idea what was in it or if it worked though. I use stick on heat pads which ease the pain. Probably the same principle.
