did anyone see on the news about the woman who regained her hearing ?
What a marvellous thing for her. I remember many years ago I had a build up of wax which was later syringed, but I lost my hearing for a while it was awful .
I am so very pleased for her .

I saw that Nonu. It was wonderful. I regularly get a build up of wax and as you say it is horrible. It gives you a (very slight) idea of what it must be like to lose your hearing. I have it at the moment and have an appointment to get my ear syringed. It can't come soon enough.

Very moving indeed. Just hope she won't get tired of all the noise- after so many years of silence, modern noise in a city must be quite disturbing. Remember the old man with a pea stuck in his ear in Captain Corelli's mandolin?
