Just recently my nose has started to run most mornings, I have never had an allergy in my life, I don't feel as if I have a cold, Does anyone know how I can stop this?

Do you get sinus problems? If the 'running' is clear sticky liquid, then it's from the sinus, they fill up if they detect a bug!

I think it may be allergic rhinitis.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have to go to the docs tomorrow so I may mention it

I sniff constantly these days [I even annoy myself doing it]. Probably the dreaded post nasal drip sad.

I have perpetual rhinitis, it drives me bonkers. I have to have a tissue to hand at all times and eating a meal is misery especially with soup.

I used to suffer from allergic rhinitis - if it ever makes an appearance I find that a decongestant such as Sudofed is very effective - dries you up in no time.

You need to be careful though if on other meds e.g. for BP and check with the pharmacist.

I get a bit of a runny nose [most unsightly] sometimes but take a hay fever tablet and it goes away !
