That's one happy birthday boy. Eight is a wonderful age to be. A very happy birthday to him. Maybe a belated celebration with you when the bugs have packed their bags and gone.
Mr C also takes to his bed when unwell, he sleeps until germs are so bored they leave voluntarily. All I need to do is make sure he keeps the liquids going and provide endless food - never loses his appetite. How do men do that? Just as well really as my nursing skills are shall we say, well, minimal. It's a wonder he survives really.
