oldgoat The scan can be done at Oban. Yet another excuse to indulge in another lunch at the fish restaurant.
NanaandGrampy If anyone can find a replacement - YOU can!
I bought one of those shaker thingies that usually have a snowman inside. The one I gave Torben had a lighthouse inside and when shaken, the bits looked liked sea spray. Torben wanted to know whether it would break if dropped. Sure thing, it did. He cried himself to sleep that night. I went back to Lochgilphead ( a mere 70 mile round trip) to buy another. He was appreciative. He did tell me that he had learnt a lesson. All's well that ends well.
