Good morning dear people.
Jud Us lot knowing that you must be sick with worry, is of no consolation. I can only imagine how you must feel as Georgie continues to show small signs of recovering from the awful trauma. Did the driver of the van stop? We shall continue to root for Georgie's full recovery. It goes without saying that we'll celebrate in style when she eventually returns home.
MawB Romantic - so it was...but not in the style of a Barbara Cartland novel.
Greyduster and Lona and oldgoat Most days I upload images from the camera. We have two. A couple of days ago, I couldn't for the life of me remember how to go about the process. I sat with a connection in my hand but didn't know where to plug it into the computer. There have been other instances of momentary blankness. Most times I try to shrug the forgetfulness off. Other times, I simply recite (to myself) a long, poem that I memorised for my son's wedding day a very long time ago. I can still remember every word of every verse. The poem was written by Sylvia Plath.
cornerg You are a true friend.
And yes, I also often forget passwords, especially those that I use frequently.
NanaandGrampy Health is wealth. I couldn't agree more.
I'm pleased to hear that the viewings are at long last picking up. The young couple may very well be the next owners of your much-loved home. I know that we felt the same liking for the couple who bought our barn conversion. I could visualise them living in it and loving it. Just as I hoped that one particular lady, who viewed with complete lack of good manners, wouldn't return for a second viewing.
Izabella Today the wind is bitterly cold. A small fishing boat is tossing about on a choppy sea. I may take a photo.
MacSporran has an appointment with the dermatologist this afternoon. He has regular attention (with a zapper) on lesions on his scalp caused by sun damage. He also needs to take some of the bedroom carpeting that is being replaced with wood flooring, to the tip.
Rory stalked, pounced and captured a very large.......leaf which he proudly placed on the kitchen floor.
