Don’t ignore M and S. My local store has a lovely selection.

Childrensalon and their outlet are worth a look for really special items.

Lots of expensive things but some lovely reasonable ones too if you land lucky.
I confess I've bought a few "special" items over the years.

Thanks for all the suggestions, a big help, I'm sure we'll find something lovely.
I might get a Frugli voucher for them myself, having had a look, their clothes do seem to suit the new family's style.

My grand daughter loves the clothes I have bought for my great GD from Boden. They have good sales.

Next has lovely clothes at good prices and usually easy to launder. I have bought a lot from there.

I bought my son and daughter in law a voucher for Frugi when their daughter was born, they loved the clothes.

DD2 got a lot of stuff from Turtledove, London. Not the traditional type of baby wear, but DGS2 looked lovely in it.

& Next!

Thanks, we can have a look at both. Baby's mum's early 30's so may prefer the less traditional, nice to have a range to look at.

My daughter loves Frugi baby clothes for her little one, they are also online. Very different to The White Company, they are colourful and less traditional, it depends what the new mum’s style is.

Thanks, I'll definitely look at your suggestion with Mum.

The White Company has beautiful baby clothes, blankets and towels with little hoods. Very good quality and they will gift wrap or send you the box and tissue paper for you to wrap.

My mum has dementia, & recently bereaved so she's now on her own with lots of local family & friends support.

She is about to be a great grandnanna, her first great grandchild, & she's excited when she remembers but day-to-day worries crowd it out 90% of the time.
I said I'd visit & help her choose an outfit or 2 for baby, as what's a nicer present to choose than baby clothes? There haven't been babies in the family for ages & most my friends don't have children - can you suggest an online site I could go through with her & she choose something nice for the new arrival? I think the last baby clothes I bought were from baby Gap for a work colleague but that was 10+ years ago!
Her mobility's great but she gets v anxious so would prefer I find an online shop to look through with her. Thanks!
