WOOT - Here it is, our very own shed ( Thanks GSHQ), real posh one too, no more old doors etc. it may be small on the outside but, inside, WOW, it's a tardis, plenty of room for everyone. However it's a bit bare atm, contributions to make it homely greatly appreciated. BUT remember it's Granddads' shed, no chintz please.
Congratulations Pompa Great news - hopefully I will be reporting a similar story next week from here Downunder! Look forward to hearing the details tomorrow
"Baby girl has been born! She's 7lb 7oz and 100% perfect.Mother is fine and got the job done in just over 5 hours. Naming of baby girl and photos will be sorted tomorrow when we've all had some sleep!"
This is the first time I have looked at this thread as I assumed it would be all about football and cars! There is a very good tea shop in Thornton Le Dale - great home-made cakes and you can get the little steam train at Pickering or take a horse drawn cart ride in the Dalby Forest. Now I must look at the other threads - I could do with reading something shocking. I have just read '50 shades of grey' and I can't understand what the fuss is about. It is not too badly written and the S & M amounts to no more than a bit of bondage and spanking, in the main. Probably happens in many suburban bedrooms - 'Beat me on the bottom with the Woman's Weekly'.
No, Alison, this isn't the shocking one! Try 'How many Grandads do we have?' and the other Grandad one. Although they may not be shocking enough for choking...
Only just come on to this thread as I was told it is shocking. Only done last page so far and still not chocked! Pompa the best tea shop in the world is in Great Malvern and is called the Blue Bird. Views over the town but only a short walk to the hills. Coffee is a matter of taste but you just won't beat their cakes and scones.
