Help with this plant,please

It grows wild in many places abroad. The juice is very soothing for sunburn.

Info man be careful it does get scorched!

They are desert plants, more or less, so they need a hot sunny window and very little water.

The split leaves work on burns and scalds as well as allergies to plants or insect bites.

Aloe Vera. My daughter had camped out and was covered in little itchy bites. I cut off a leaf, removed the prickly bits on the edge and split it. She rubbed the leaf on the bites and this helped.
She bought herself a plant and showed it to me as it wasn't doing to well. I could see (on video Messanger) that it was too wet. They thrive on neglect.

Decided to put in the very hot conservatory,and buy three very small aloe vera for the bay window.

Am I the only person who can’t seem to grow them? I’m pretty successful with other indoor plants.

Looks like an aloe vera. Needs very little water and can be multiplied by pulling off offsets. Is farmed in the Canary Isles.
