Considering I started this thread, I thought I'd better do some of ours.
Our house is a converted Victorian school so our garden is on the playground which was not broken up as well as it might have been and drainage is a problem especially as the soil is clay. Consequently, we have no grass but have 2 levels, both paved, with biggish beds.
Actually, people are often more interested in reminiscing about their school days than looking at the garden.
