Primroses

I thought this was the time of year to plant out some primrose's in the border, but none of the garden centres seem to have any. As I only require about half a dozen plants, purchase on line is not any good. Am I wrong in the time of year?

They seem to have been selling them earlier this year. I don't know why because I always use them for autumn colour too. Go on Freegle and ask if anyone is splitting their plants. You may get half a dozen.

Monty Don told me to split and replant mine ages ago after they finished flowering. Naurally I did what he said!

Garden centre had them just yesterday, seemed like they were newly in.
