Thanks Nelliemoser. I am always surprised by people's generosity whether they bring one plant or a trayful to be sold.
One Saturday last summer an allotment holder delivered 4 large boxes of butternut squashes, courgettes, marrows and apples. Another friend gave a large bag of runner beans and then Mick arrived with a large bucket of dahlias. I didn't know which items to price first - but of course the dahlias took pole position. I save plastic punnets for the gooseberries as they arrive by the bucketful.
