Only then will I head off home
And sort out my wet hair with a comb
I'll try a new style
With which I'll beguile
Everyone wherever I roam

I'll charm everybody I meet

Some people exist for their phone
Without it they feel so alone
It's part of their brain

Ill turn off my phone for a change
Of late it’s been terribly strange
It talks with itself
(As dumped on a shelf)
I’ll place it somewhere out of range.

A bit of peace would be so nice
A take-a-way with lamb and rice
A nice spicy side
The poppads I’ll hide
Then clear it away in a trice.

I’ll turn off my phone for a change

Sorry, lost the plot

A bit of peace would be so nice
A take-a-way with lamb and rice
And a nice spicy side

In my kitchen I roar and rage
I can't find the cookery book page

One day I ate an Easter egg
As I was standing on one leg
My Caesar, he barked
I'm easily narked
And now my leg looks like a peg!

A bit of peace would be so nice

It sounds like a good life to me
To spend the day happy and free
Just do what you please
With the greatest of ease
As long as your fit as a flea.

with Sounds of waves and smell of sea air
And all the fun of the fair
Candy floss that melts
Wear had made of felts
And roam around without a care

It sounds like a good life to me

Tomorrow I’ll walk on the beach
The pier I'm hoping to reach
If I let go your hand
I'll fall in the sand
So I will cling on like a leech

Sounds of waves and smell of sea-air
And all the fun of the fair

It's happy I'll be
