LIMERICKS (Apr ‘25)

It’s special when I’m with my friend
Many an hour we can spend
We talk day and night
Bout things that excite
And all the world’s troubles we mend.

My friend is a popular soul

It's special when I'm with my friend
Many an hour we can spend
We talk day and night
Bout things that excite

It's special when I'm with my friend
Many an hour we can spend
We talk day and night

It's special when with my good friend
Many an hour we can spend

I love fish and chips by the sea
Together with a cup of tea
Watching the seagulls
The view never dulls
I can’t think where I’d rather be.

For history I have a yen
I have studied it now and then
Our kings and our queens
Old bishops and deans
And Shakespeare with his quill pen

I love fish and chips by the sea

For history I have a yen
I have studied it now and then
Our kings and our queens
Old bishops and deans

For history I have a yen
I have studied it now and then
Our Kings and our Queens

For history I have a yen
I have studied it now and then

A king must wear a well cut suit
For subjects, we don’t give a hoot
His socks will match
He has a big batch
All part of his treasure and loot.

For history I have a yen

A king must wear a well cut suit
For subjects, we don't give a hoot
His socks will match
He has a big batch

A king must wear a well cut suit
For subjects, we don't give a hoot
His socks will match

A king must wear a well cut suit
For subjects, we don’t give a hoot

A queen's dress has to be modest
And she must not show too much chest
Accessories match
Which a thief may snatch
But she should always look her best

A king must wear a well cut suit

A queen's dress has to be modest
And she must not show too much chest
Accessories match
Which a thief may snatch

A queen’s dress has to be modest
And she must not show too much chest
Accessories match

A queen's dress has to be modest
And she must not show too much chest

I bought a new dress that is green
It’s bright, so I’m sure to be seen
Had a yellow bow
A neckline cut low
But would it be fit for a queen?

A queen’s dress has to be modest

I bought a new dress that is green
It's bright, so I'm sure to be seen
Had a yellow bow
A neckline cut low

I bought a new dress that is green
It's bright , so I'm sure to be seen
Had a yellow bow

I bought a new dress that is green
It’s bright, so I’m sure to be seen

I bought a new dress that is green
But noticed a tear at the seam
