This morning I walked in the sun
I was glad the rain had all gone
Spring is so charming

I'm sorry, could not resist altering the lines slightly so as to fit the limerick pattern of syllables which is 88558. A slight variation doesn't matter too much.
I expect I'll get told off for this. Rightly so. But I just like Limericks and like keeping to the pattern.
