" Can I help you ? ", said the strange voice belonging to a very thin , pale man with vacant eyes .

He was twiddling a piece of rope in his hands and

But then, holding one end of the rope in the long waxy fingers of one hand, the man pointed towards the floor with the other, and slowly intoned
‘Is this yooouur cat, young lady?’

Before she could answer she heard someone calling out "whose that at the door Norman"?

Just the amazon delivery guy said Mason!

Norman, the thin pale man looked very unsure, but continued to stare at the cat

“No, it’s not Amazon, Mother, it’s two weary travellers who have seen our sign”.

Oh! Then don't leave them standing at the door Norman, invite them in.

More cherry brandy , asked Norman smiling like a reptile as he noticed that Enid was almost unconscious and he looked across at Mason , who was already out cold having drunk a lot of whisky ...
Neither of them heard Norman say , " not much longer , mother - two of them this time ."

"Now we can have a wonderfull dinner!"

“Will that be before or after I’ve had my shower” asked Mother.

‘Afterwards’, called Norman, ‘and don’t use my strawberry shower gel’.

Mrs Bates decided on a bath and sank beneath the pink , frothy bubbles .
Sod you , stingy Norman , she thought pouring the entire bottle of strawberry shower gel into the hot water and laughed outrageously ...

It was her last laugh🤣

Mrs Bates suddenly stopped her giggling as realised that she had her new guests to look after,
‘Norman!’, she cried
‘Put the oven on gas mark 5 and stick those mince pies in!’

She didn't notice Norman creep into the room until he grabbed her by the neck and pushed her under the bubbles until she laughed no more, but tripping over the bath mat as he held onto her and suddenly felt himself slipping .

She can't speak Fanny...she is dead!!!
There was a knock on the door.Norman opened it tentatively, there stood Jack Nicholson, " I've come to offer your traveller's a better hotel room" he said smilingly.

She only had a split second to react and despite being well into her 90's she managed to get free from his grasp and watch, as he fell head first into the bath, turning the pink bubbles red, from the blood from his head wound.

Smelling strongly of formaldehyde , the amazing super strong Mrs Bates managed to position the four corpses of Enid , Mason , Jack and Norman around
her dining room table .
Now children eat your greens and do as Mama tells you , she said in maternal tones .

Just as she was about to dish up the cabbage, the door bell rang.

And there on the doorstep was a mummified hand.

Then the 'phone rang and it was Gomez Addam's asking if
Mrs. Bates or Norman had seen Thing.

“Sorry, Mr Addams, I have no use for second hand goods”
