Yes I do - had mine a couple of months ago. For the amount of mileage I do, I wonder if it’s worth me keeping a car. The amount I spend to keep the car on the road, could be well spent on taxis. Better still, I could use a bus FOC. On the other hand, hmm ……

Do you dread going for your MOT? Just had mine and with the service cost a fortune.

The plastic top of the record player collects dust, as do a couple of bookcases. I loathe dusting with a passion.

Which household task makes you groan with distaste?

I occasionally buy a pack of boxes of microwave fries. Sometimes nothing else appeals!

If anyone wants to add their rubbishy food, please do. My question is where do you notice dust first in your house?
I sometimes regret having bought a glass TV stand. My brother-in-law has a huge TV fastened to the wall so no dusty surface underneath.

Every friday when we go shopping I look at the pork pies with longing. Every now and again I buy a pack of 6 mini ones and Mr R and I have a couple each for lunch. (I have to have Branston pickle with mine.) Mr R finishes them off another time.

Christmas 1985 from my wonderful mom.
A vivid, bright, bright pink fun fur coat.
It was very punky / new wave.
I’d been admiring it madly in Beatties at Wolverhampton.
It was £45, which I should imagine was lot of money then.
It was a total and utter most wonderful surprise.
My mom was the most fabulous present buyer.
I wore it until my early 20’s, so it got its wear.

My best present was a large box of paints age 9. I couldnt wait to be able to use them the next day. I always loved painting.

No I didn’t. I watched and was impressed by the pomp and ceremony and especially the music . I felt for the family members. I hope they can get some peace for a few days. Too far removed for me to be in tears.

I prefer to watch the edited highlights later so I can skip the bits where some commentator just drones on and nothing is happening. However I did hear some of the music and it was very powerful.

Our lawn is littered in acorn and the top of the oak is just beginning to turn. Lots of leaf sweeping to do soon.

I have spent a great part of today watching the Queens Lying-in. State I find it quite mesmerising.

Yes every summer but today I have driven 150 miles to see my brother and his family for a meal and a chat.

The trees by the motorway are still so green, unlike the ones in the park.
What about near you?

It's very rural here but there is a huge country park a short walk away. It has just been left to nature mostly so no benches or play areas. It is so peaceful up there.

Do you drive long distances sometimes?

No they are quite well kept in out immediate area!

Do you have any pleasant parks near you?

We have a large one 5 minutes walk away with a small childrens playground, a lake with ducks and lots of mature trees so pleasant for walking/jogging and picknicks.

Yes, though to be fair, my sister does most of the research and there’s a meet up once a year. We have loads of Scottish relatives I never knew about and several Australian ones I was pleased to hear from.

Are the pavements near you full of weeds?

I had my dna done and found a first cousin in Vancouver whose hobby is genealogy. She has found out so much about our ancestors that it is amazing.

I've given my feet the once over this morning after my shower. Cut and filed my nails, moisturised ,then put bright pink nail varnish on my toenails. Do you do this? Or do you regularly have a chiropodist?

We don’t as we are very rural. Not a lot of children around in the pitch black.

Of course they are real, yellow stitching and all. Fanny I don’t do fake anything .

I wash my hair every morning. It's naturally very curly (it looks permed), so sometimes I leave it and at other times, I blow-dry it, but never used straighteners.
