Probably I should downsize, but it’s not a massive house, although the garden is too big. Frankly I can’t face it now and am happy to muddle along.

Yes, very. Proud to be British, English, Devonshire. Not blind to my country's faults, but love it just the same.

Can you play a musical instrument? I learned piano as a child.

No but I would have loved to learn to play the piano.

What was your favourite lesson in Secondary School, English Lit & Home Economics were mine. I hated PE & Maths.

I loved English and Art, hated PE, science and maths.

Can you/do you ride a bicycle?

Yes and I started again a few years ago when I was 70

Have you ever been on a tandem?

No never! Only an ordinary bike.

Have you ever ridden in an old fashioned moter bike with sidecar?

When I was a kid one of my uncles had one. I used to love it.

No never, but probably saw them about, can’t remember.

What do you find unattractive in a man? (Tattoos and bad table manners)

Dirty finger nails.

Who would you like to dance round the floor with ?

Ive started to cut down on food treats like cakes and biscuits.

When you have workmen in do you offer to make them drinks? Or just point them to where the kettle/supplies/fridge are and tell them to help themselves?

I have to do the latter being mobility impaired. I have men currently working in my bathroom and I cant carry anything up and down stairs. They seem quite happy with cold canned drinks in this warm weather.

When younger I loved 7 Brides, kiss me Kate. Those sort of film musical Now not so much, but DH loves Les Miz. We have seen all film versions and he even puts it on when he does the ironing ( his turn)

I'm now rooting for Ed Davey, as I'm a lifelong liberal/democrat. I used to respect Ann Widdicombe as at least I always felt she was telling the truth. And there is a MP for Plymouth, ex military Johnny Mercer whom I respect.

I'm enjoying lots of ice-cream now the weather is warmer.
Do you have a favourite? I love anything with cherries, but also a good vanilla takes a lot of beating.

A lovely vanilla (clotted cream version) is excellent, but I am looking forward to a coffee icecream when we get to France.

Yes I do have sympathy for Boris. He has had to face Brexit, Covid, War in Ukraine, his colleagues with their knives out for him.
