The starlings are busy today
Finding insects to take away

I’m afraid I’ve left it too long
My regret is coming on strong

The nail bar in town is busy
Oh, yuck, my bob will go frizzy
My skin is a mess
Neglect I confess
It’s blotchy and dry and bristly

I’m afraid I’ve left it too long

Oh, yuck,my bob will go frizzy
My skin is a mess
Neglect I confess
`Cos I`m always in a tizzy

My life is so terribly rushed

My nails need refurbishing too
As they're cracked and bitten right through
Manicures aren't cheap
You have to dig deep
To make them look shiny and new.

I'm having my hair done next week
I hope the result's what I seek
I fancy a bob
And hope not to sob
I'll smile if it's shiny and sleek

I`ll take some lessons in Chinese
That sure seems to be a smart wheeze
Spiders a-crawling
Kanji-appalling!
If I see one I`ll surely freeze!

"Pearls bring tears" my mum used to say
And opals are dang`rous that way
But a diamond`s fire
Is what i desire
So with a rich man I will play

Whatever he needs I`ll provide

I’m saving myself for a Prince
The men around here make me wince
No style, no aplomb,
I'll move to Hong Kong
To find the son of Mr Wong

I’ll take some lessons in Chinese
