John Gordon Sinclair, as Dr Finlay, sounds very much like Bill Simpson.

Tesco did not have the yogurt I wanted yesterday when I did my update and directed me to another choice. When it arrived they were in packs of 2 rather than 4. So now short of yogurt!

Breaking the thread rules here, but yes, many posters DID know that and wondered whether the fact was instrumental in the choice of a now-defunct username.

Nearly finished decorating our bedroom thank heavens its taken all 2 weeks and my house looks like a tip. ?

It's raining this morning and cool, but I'd rather be here than where that dreadful heat is in western Canada and USA. Those poor people.

Lovely walk today along the canal with DGS6 in his pram. Loads of dragonflies and butterflies, and ducks who weren’t at all impressed by the rolled oats and shredded lettuce we threw them for lunch. You could see them pining for the Sunblest days.

My darling sister-in-law has just sent me a Birthday card and written such a lovely message in it it made me want to cry!!

Yesterday I went to move a pile of branches, which was cut about 3-4 weeks ago. Suddenly I spotted a nest with 3 little blue eggs, neatly placed among the branches.
This morning, I had a quick look and there was a blackbird sitting in the nest.

I'm having a bit of a clear out and at long last I have found the instruction booklet to my sewing machine which hasn't been seen since I moved here, probably about seven years, to my shame.

Both my thirteen and sixteen year old granddaughters have had their first vaccination.

At a garden centre on Saturday, a woman wearing a lanyard rebuked me for not having a mask on as I crossed the car park. Her masked DH muttered something about kettle and pot.

Something is eating my passion flowers. I'm going to google it in a minute.

Just finished watching Notting Hill. I love that film!

Asda had 3 clematis for £5 yesterday. I couldn't resist such an offer. I've planted them this morning.

I’ve never seen an umbrella with the F word on it till today. It seemed somehow inappropriate in Harrogate.

My erratic printer, which refuses to work when it's wanted, has unasked for, just spewed out the final page of a knitting pattern. I wonder what it's trying to tell me.

Whilst out driving today I’ve seen 3 items of black and white clothing abandoned; one on the road one in a garden centre carpark and one on a wall. Is somebody doing a staggered striptease?

After doing my 3 bears act - too hard, too soft, just right - I think, Ive just ordered a new mattress for my bed. Expensive mistake if I’ve got it wrong ?
