No rain for weeks and weeks and now, well we’re having deluges. I ventured to the Garden Centre and had to step carefully through a lagoon to get in the entrance! ☔️

Sun is out but I'm waiting for the repair man to phone and say he's got the part for my machine ?

Today I navigated the city streets to re-fuel the car and while at the store, got the last pack of English asparagus

Today I must drill holes in the bottom of new garden pots.
I am quite scared of my electric drill.

If you have a car breakdown.
Put hazards on immediately
Swiftly get everyone out of the car with your bag and phone ( which will be on the passenger seat won’t it and not thrown on the back seat) 5 minutes is too long.
Get away from the car, over barrier if there is one.
Put hi vis jackets on
If no barrier then you need to be a long way from the vehicle at the side.
DoNot stand in front or behind car.
Get help.
Speed is of the essence.
DD broke down yesterday , did all the right things, as she was phoning for help a truck drove into her car and wrote it off.
Shocked but safe and well.

I've had a good morning. Made a few changes in the kitchen /garden room and the first floor sitting room. Feeling very pleased with my efforts
