It was the best wedding I've ever been to. It was absolutely brilliant.

I'm changing my question - what was the best wedding you have been to?

If you don’t count a paper round, my first job was in a newsagents-get up early to sort papers for delivery, then serve in the shop.

How old were you when you learned to drive?

17 I passed my driving test first time.

What age do you think people should seriously think about giving up driving?

My darling dad was at an age when he should have given up driving because he was dangerous However fate stepped in and whilst charging the battery in his garage - incorrectly it turned out - the car and the garage caught fire and that was the end of his driving years! (The garage was not attached to the house so mum and dad weren't injured)

If you could turn back time what would you change?

Nothing you can't change it but you can learn from it.

Will you be voting in the local elections have you changed to a another party.

Yes I’ll be voting but I don’t even share my voting preference with my husband.

Green Party-will make things greener and work to provide more charging points for the electric car I can’t afford.
Labour -will do a long list of things (including all the things they haven’t done while they’ve been in charge of the council).
Conservatives- will do a long list of things, starting with fixing road surfaces not just topping up potholes.
It’s hard to know really.

Books, I suppose.

Rarely although I have 4 or 5 nice summer ones. All A-line, on the knee.

Yes. Salty and uninspiring.

How often do you food shop?

I do click and collect once a fortnight. Just top up locally in between, the odd cauliflower or whatever.

Have you ever played Canasta?

No, I don't even really know what it entails

All the adverts get on my nerves - I record most programmes so I can fast forward them.

What are you most looking forward to in the future?

I'm most looking forward to life getting back to normal. Going to things like the dentist and being able to get there early and sit in a waiting room with a magazine instead of having to stand outside.

Did you ever believe that 'one must suffer to be beautiful'?

Definitely not! Can't stand the plastic look.

What's the most unusual pet you've ever had?

When you were 12, who was/were your favourite pop star/stars?

Painted quails when the kids were young. They were very noisy, though and used to wake us up.

Gas but I have a great electric convector radiator as backup for a very chilly evening. Probably not necessary in the new house.

Yes, blossom is on the ground more than on the tree.
