What is eating my avocado?

If it's a rat or mouse and ate the skin it could be feeling rather poorly by now.

Are you in Australia? Fruit bat?

Just that. Came down this morning to find a biggish hole drilled in my avocado and a little pile of debris. No mouse droppings.
