I remember trying to park with a toddler and a baby who desperately needed a feed and that was many years ago!!
A kind resident said I could use his parking space.

I wouldn't either, although parking is a big of a fag, especially in one particular incredibly beautiful but impossible to park town, and it's only June!!! I dread to think what it's like in August. I asked the ladies in the Tourist Office, what sort of winters they had "mild" came the reply. Excellent!

I never wanted to move!!

Thank you Callistemon, I love it here, I went into the Tourist Office in the town where we are staying and told the ladies there "I just love your town" yes they replied, almost screeched in fact "so do we"

We spent so much time there as we lived just on the edge of the South Hams years ago.

We're down in gorgeous South Hams, Devon and have practically eaten fish every day, mostly out. None of it deep friend in batter I'm happy to say, not that there is anything wrong with that, but nice to have it pan fried or grilled for a change. Self catering tonight, cobbled together a meal of spicy salmon rubbed with a spice and drizzled with oil, wrapped in foil and and baked alongside some roasted Jersey Royals which we had with salad washed down with a glass or two of Viognier. Strawberries later, maybe? Tomorrow we're eating out, probably fish again

Full English Salad! Salad with a hard boiled egg, chopped crispy bacon and fried black pudding. Theoretically there should be croutons but, as I'm gf, we have a few boiled potatoes.. It feels almost healthy because it's on a mixed salad.

No idea for today. I’ll have to have a rummage or make something .

Last night roasted ratatouille pasta

Tonight Roast whole boned chicken, cauliflower and greens beans from the garden, roasted new potatoes and gravy

Good old beef burger 🍔

I made a beetroot onion and feta tart served it with tiny potatoes from my veg patch.

Lots and lots of fresh broad beans with new potatoes and grated cheese on top. The beans were picked at a local farm this morning as were the strawberries we had for dessert topped with Greek yoghurt.

Chicken thighs and mushrooms, garlic, crème fraîche., new potatoes from the garden, carrots and mange tout.

Since we have so many eggs, a sort of Spanish omelette, with potatoes, onion, mushrooms and peppers.

Mediterranean harissa baked hake. Sweet potatoes, kale from the garden, red onion, cherry tomatoes and couscous. A recipe I found online. It was very tasty.

Cold ham with baby potatoes and peas.

Steak (fillet for himself, ribeye for me), Bearnaise sauce, local asparagus, sautéed Jersey royals.

Chicken curry.
Leftover chicken from Sunday with a paste that makes a Chinese curry sauce…… absolutely weakness of mine. Someone introduced me to this stuff very recently and I’m hooked.

Lamb steak, a selection of vegetables and French fries- most cooked in my air fryer.

I am working my way through my freezer!

Shepherd's Pie - lentils, veg, mushrooms, mash - baked. Bread, salad, fruit. Whatever anyone brings round for pudding.

Snap MiniMoon. Followed by rice pudding.

Scrambled eggs. Delicious. Five minutes in kitchen is enough for me.

Posh fish fingers, chips and peas. Just because it's easy!

Pan fried mackeral, salad, beetroot and potatoes.
