I've just cooked cheesy-breadcrumbed Basa, with sweet potatoes and oven-roasted Mediterranean vegetables. (It's a Gousto recipe I had ages ago) Gorgeous.
Rather than cook two meals, I've made a vegetarian lasagne to accommodate the vegetarian member of the family, which we will all eat with accompanying Jersey Royals and green beans. For pudding, I've made an almond flavoured sponge sandwiched together with raspberries and cream, washed down with a glass or two of Sauvignon Blanc Hope to eat outside, don't think it will rain, fingers crossed.
Grilled lamb chops, sautéed new potatoes and just one veg, not decided which yet. Strawberries and grapes au natural for after. A glass or two of red may be taken.
Yes! Salcombe it is beautiful, parking, just impossible, Park and Ride only operates in high season
You do realise Callistemon we're derailing this thread, in spite of numerous mentions of South Hams, it would be disingenuous to suggest that "the hams" are part of anyone's dinner
Today I made mince and dumplings with buttered cabbage and mash. We had an ice lolly each for dessert. It's been a drizzly sort of day so I made comfort food.
