I've just cooked cheesy-breadcrumbed Basa, with sweet potatoes and oven-roasted Mediterranean vegetables. (It's a Gousto recipe I had ages ago) Gorgeous.
A Thai green curry, with some leftover cold chicken, mushrooms, sugar snap peas, and red pepper. With rice, obviously. And luscious fat British cherries, courtesy of M&S, for ‘pud’.
As it’s turned cooler, I think calves liver alla Veneziana which sounds posher than it actually is. And with crushed new potatoes -saves the fact of scraping or peeling bigger pots.
Chicken Tikka - home-made - chicken thighs marinated in yogurt and spices, baked in the oven, with Bombay potatoes and pilau rice. One of my favourite meals, also a favourite of late DH.
Ooh, I like Mary Berry’s sausage supper whitewavemark2. So easy to put together and hardly any washing up. Very tasty, too. Tonight, though, we’re having pork steaks which have been marinating all day in a Chinese style marinade along with jasmine rice and some stir fry vegetables all washed down with a glass of red as it’s Friday 👍🏼😁.
