Defrosting Cottage Pie

I'm sorry , I posted this before but tagged it on to another post .
I have made , cooked and put a cottage pie in the freezer . Can I defrost it in the fridge for three to four days before re cooking ?
I will be away for that period and don't have time to take it out of the freezer and thaw or cook on the day I need it .

Have you got a microwave? That could solve your defrosting problem.

Defrost it in the fridge, it'll be fine so long as your fridge is at the correct temperature, below 4degrees C.

And reheat it quickly.

Thank you , Midgey . Yes , I do have a microwave but unfortunately the pie is too big to sit on the turntable . 🤨

I responded on other thread - fine as long as you reheat thoroughly
