I watched a program on doner kebabs (yes I am that sad
) and it is all lamb, it's just very high in saturated fat. The trukish kebab shops here do do doner but they also do fresh lamb, fresh chicken and lamb kofte, fresh rices, quinoa, bulgar wheat, hummous, lovely fresh salads and the most delicious flatbreads in the world (maybe, I have never been to turkey
) it certainly never feels greasy or unhealthy.
I am trying to think of things I haven't tried as I do tend to try everything but I haven't tried snails either as someone else mentioned, I'm not sure I'd want to either
