Lurkers' week: what are you having for lunch?

Ham & cheese omelette and toast - had half a pot of creme fraiche to use up so I whisked it in with the eggs and it resulted in a sort of souffle omelette - it was scrummy!

Sandwich made from left over gammon slices from yesterday's Sunday roast. Plus a mug of lovely Yorkshire Tea.

Tuna salad sandwich, mainly to use up tuna left from yesterday.

My son cooked fish with pasta, pesto, peas and sweetcorn on Saturday. As usual, too big a portion for me so it's made a nice "free" lunch today with a glass of tomato juice ?

A cheese and pickle toast from bacon Joe's van just down the road!

Shepard's pie with roasted cauliflower. I am not a brand new poster to Gransnet so not sure if I'm eligible for the competition or not. Either way, it's nice to be here and I do mostly lurk. Not sure I'm happy about confessing that (the lurking not the other part).

I am having homemade chicken and vegetable soup with Pearl Barley. It is simmering as I type!

Carrot and lentil soup with cheese and sundried tomato bread ( both homemade-just showing off!) and a satsuma

Sweet chilli chicken salad and a cup of tea.

Smoothie after foot injury need to lose wieght now.

Not having a lunch as such as will be eating early tonight but I've just had a lovely warm scone with butter and a cup of tea. Delicious.

I intended to have half of an M &S cheese salad but have just eaten a tube of jelly beans so no lunch for me. .

I was going to have the last piece of the cheese bloomer toasted with lashings of butter so popped the bread in the toaster, then went to stop ( the bloody dog ) little Alfie from eating the bushes, came back in to clouds of smoke coming out of the toaster and the smoke alarm in full throttle , so now it’s cake and wine for lunch !!!! ?

I dont think I'll have any today. When I tried to pay for my morning scone I found I had no cash and the girl would only accept card payments over £1. I had to buy 2 so of course I had to eat them both.

Sorry Cari I know I'm not new but that has brought back so many memories of lunches eaten at my desk or in the staff room. What would we do without Ryvita and Philly? Haven't decided on my lunch yet off to the shops so I will pick something tasty.
