Spiralizer/any good ideas?

I spiralise a mixture of root veg (anything to hand) and cook it in a frying pan with a couple of sprays of one cal fat and a tiny knob of butter. Fry it for a couple of mins tossing regularly and season to taste. I usually eat it on it's own but it's nice as part of a proper meal too.

Some people spiralise courgettes and use instead of pasta but I wasn't keen on it when I tried it.

I'm not the person to advise here, Ali managed to successfully spiralise were my fingers. It wasn't pretty!

Ouch. I will try and avoid doing that, I have a track record already using a V Slicer/Mandoline.

I was given one too and keep meaning to use it more. I have tried sweet potato but piled it up a bit too much on the oven tray so that it did not all cook through. I should have used two trays.
Waiting for more inspiration from others on here.

I use spiralized carrots and courgettes together plus a few noodles as an accompaniment to, eg. bol sauce. Useful when you're trying to eat low cal.

Thanks Liz and Blinko . I guess it is a limited use item looking at the response in asking for ideas.

Perhaps it will come out in the summer.
