Today I made some easy-looking cake pops for a school sale (see pic in book). I had some of the above melts sold for just this purpose. but had a nightmare using them. When melted the result is far too thick, even with the addition of a knob of lard as suggested. Has anyone tried these and did they manage to thin the dip satisfactorily? Or have you used an alternative covering ?
I can't decide whether to dump the scruffy offerings in the bin or send them school to anyway. The mothers may be appalled at the thickness of the sickly sweet covering!
Joint fusion in foot, any experience?
No fun being old under Andy Burnham .
Are we repeating the "great depression" of the 1920's?
