I was ridiculously pleased with myself when I made this dish successfully for myself and Anno. My supermarket had these enormous beef tomatoes and I found several recipes on the net. I cut off a lid, scooped out the soft bits, baked the shells and lids for about 15 minutes. I cooked rice and mixed it with peas, the pulp, and grated cheese and black pepper. I filled the tomatoes, put the lids on and gave them another 15 minutes. They were delicious. Most of you have probably been cooking them for years, but I had never tried it before. We had them with salmon steaks.
