HAPPY BIRTHDAY Smiles enjoy your birthday meal today. I have a lovely Buddha which you put scented wax in & has lovely lights glowing, my DD bought me for Xmas & some friends bought me a lovely multicoloured glass globe one, I love them.

Had a rough night which is unusual for me. My son should get the letter today as the post is quick here. Just wait and see if it comes back if it does will just send it again with a big read it urgent on it.

I didn't say anything about my heart as he knew I was waiting for a bubble echo as the echo showed a problem when he decided to dump me.

I think I am ok then it hits me. Luckily my daughter text earlier and asked if I want to go too B&Q with them so off out soon. It upsets her when I get upset so I try not when we are together . Luckily my grandson's are guaranteed to make me laugh.

Last carload went to the charity shop today. Got a carload to take to our DD tomorrow - gave her and her partner first refusal on everything as they are getting ready to upsize while we downsize. Uber tired but there's light at the end of the tunnel with the prep now.

Whiff, I am sure your son will acknowledge your letter, he has a big decision to make. I don't know what I would do. ,Bet your shopping trip ended with you buying a plant. Hugshelp, despite all the hard work it must be a nice feeling decluttered going, I keep things just in case.

Going into the garden as I feel on edge waiting to see if my son returns my letter unopened. Why am I letting it get to me I thought I was stronger than this . It's annoying that he can make me feel this way.

Well if he does I will just send it back. He may not care about his and my grandson's health but I do.

Enough of this going to take my mood out on the garden.

I feel sure he will open your letter. You have made it plain it's a matter of some importance. If not just keep sending it back with ever more "urgent" messages written on the envelope.

I'm sure that, even in his spite and animosity towards you, he would not jeopardise either his own or his children's health and well-being.

You are not interfering or stalking. You are simply passing on vital information which may or may not impact him at some point in the future. It's in his own interests. He should be grateful of the care and solicitude you still continue to show him.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Got some beautiful flowers from DS and a card that read "I know I often forget the important dates and send things late, but I never forget how much you mean to me" yes you've guessed it; I cried.

Last-minute titivating done and the EA is coming to do the photos today.

I got a lovely anthology of short stories yesterday, which included a piece by yours truly. Feels really quite exciting seeing your own work in print. I've started reading the other stories while I put my feet up for lunch. The ones I've read so far are really good.

That's tomorrow not today for the photos. Tired out again sigh...

Hugshelp what is the title of the analogy of short stories? You rightly should feel proud of your achievement. When having your home photographed remember people are looking for a home not a show home. I left my books by my seat and didn't hide away my cross stitch. People like to see it tidy but a place they can relax in and make their own. When I had my old house photographed as he did each room he got me to check I was happy with the photo before moving on to the next one.

Smiles Mr S is a romantic at heart. I would have cried to at those lovely words. I know I have done right by my son but I will still be waiting tomorrow to see if he sends the letter back . Not rational I know.
