I've been following a healthy eating plan. The focus is on eating healthily as opposed to just weight loss, though I have almost lost a stone in weight it is more important to for me to be well.

Agree join a slimming group, you will be surprised what you learn about healthy eating, the bonus is they can be fun especially if you get the right crowd.

Not naming any specific one, I joined a weight loss organisation. The discipline of a weekly weigh in and the support from the facilitator and the rest of the group kept me on track. Yes there is a healthy eating meal plan to follow, but it is certainly not that restrictive, and as a bonus, I've made lots of friends there and look forward to the weekly chat time. I've been at the weight I want to be since just before Christmas, but still go to meet my friends. The weigh in is an optional extra. smile

I am 61 and weigh 11 stone 2 pounds. I need to lose a stone and hate being over 11 stone so much as I’m only 5 foot 3 inches.
Even though I need to lose weight I am finding it difficult and the scales are creeping up.
Any tips? Any good diet plans to follow?
