I also enjoy something sweet at the end of a meal and have to watch calories as the drugs I take pile weight on if not careful.
We buy a 'tart', roughly once a week (either chocolate and salted caramel, cherry and almond or lemon) and cut it into 16ths. Well, Mr C does as my portion control would be rather more, er, generous.
Anyway, one tart lasts us for (obviously!) eight days and we have it with a little varying fruit (yes, I know, calories and sugar in fruit = bad but I find this does take away a later urge for the jaws to really dig in).
These may be more calories than some of the really excellent ideas here but they do make us feel as if we have had a 'pudding'.
